Where Do I Find My Health Insurance ID Card and Policy Information?
As a participant in an Intrax internship or training program, you have most likely been enrolled in an insurance policy through Envisage. If you have not purchased your insurance through Intrax, you will need to contact your insurance provider for the details of your policy.
Within a week of checking in, your policy will be activated with Envisage. Once your insurance policy has been activated, you will receive a welcome message to the email address you provided in your application. The welcome email will include a copy of your insurance card and a link to the online Envisage Student Zone.
The Envisage Student Zone is a helpful resource. There, you can find detailed information about your policy; search for in-network doctors, clinics, and hospitals; and print replacement insurance ID cards.

Your insurance will expire the day after the listed end date on your DS-2019 form. If you plan to remain in the US during the 30-day grace period at the end of your program, it is your responsibility to make sure you have insurance coverage. Intrax can extend your insurance through the grace period for a fee, but you must contact us at least two weeks before the end of your program.
Helpful Tips
- Keep your insurance ID card with you at all times, as it includes your insurance policy information. Present the card to the medical provider every time you receive medical care.
- Locate an in-network urgent care center or walk-in clinic immediately upon arrival to the US. That way, you can avoid delays in receiving treatment.
- Unless you are suffering from a serious illness or life-threatening injury, avoid going to the Emergency Room. Urgent Care Centers and Walk-in Clinics can treat most everyday injuries and illnesses, and they will be more convenient and much less expensive.
