# Early Departure

## How to end your program early.

### I Plan to End My Program Early. What Steps Do I Need to Take?

If you plan to end your program early, please contact Intrax at [intsupport@intraxinc.com](mailto:intsupport@intraxinc.com) or at [888-224-0450](tel:+18882240450).

Intrax support staff will ask you to confirm the final date you will report to your internship and the reason for your early departure. We will also ask you to provide one of the following to verify your departure from the US:

- a scan/photo of your boarding pass
- an entry stamp from a country outside of the US
- an electronic copy of your flight itinerary
- any other evidence that you have departed the country

Once Intrax receives the above, we will shorten your J-1 visa in good standing. It is very important that you complete these steps to prevent issues with future applications to enter the US.
