      Program Extension Eligibility

      Find out if you are eligible to extend your program.

      J-1 visa regulations limit the length of J-1 Intern and Trainee programs. Intrax is not permitted to extend visas beyond these maximum durations:

      • Intern → 12 Months

      • Hospitality Trainee → 12 Months

      • All Other Trainees → 18 Months

      If your new end date will not exceed these limits, you may apply to extend your program at your current host company. Program extensions will not be granted for a training plan at a different organization.
