Complete the following steps to extend your program. Intrax will not approve incomplete applications.

Complete the Extension Application Form and e-mail it to intsupport@intraxinc.com.

Complete the Training Plan Drafting Guide and e-mail it to intsupport@intraxinc.com.

Intrax will review and revise the training plan after you submit it. Please ensure that the document you submit can be edited.

The updated plan must include new, unique phases that demonstrate a progression of your training.

Submit payment online with a credit card.

Intrax will email an invoice upon receipt of the completed Extension Application Form.

The extension fee is $500 + $65/month for health insurance.

We will also collect $100/month for each J-2 dependent (if applicable) to extend their health insurance.

Applications received fewer than ten days before your program end date will incur a rush-processing fee of $250 in addition to the standard extension fee.

Intrax will email you and your supervisor an updated DS-7002 (training plan) for your electronic signatures. Complete this promptly to avoid delays.

Intrax will update your program end date in SEVIS and email your DS-2019 form for you to download and print. IMPORTANT: After printing the DS-2019 form, sign the bottom of page 1.
Important:

Intrax cannot grant an extension after your original Form DS-2019 has expired.

Submit your Extension Application Form and Training Plan to Intrax around one month before your current program end date.

The extension period must begin immediately after your current Form DS-2019 expires.

Extensions are not guaranteed and are based on the strength of the rationale for the extension.

If your extension is denied, or if you cancel it before the extension period begins, the fees will be refunded to you, minus a nonrefundable administrative fee of $100.

Once your extension period has begun, no refund will be issued.
