Instructions
If you plan to travel outside the US, you will need a travel validation signature from Intrax on your Form DS-2019. Submit your request to Intrax at least two weeks prior to your trip. There will be an additional fee for Travel Validation Requests received less than one week before your departure.
Complete the Travel Validation Request Form and email it to intsupport@intraxinc.com. Intrax will issue a $25 invoice for administrative processing. If Intrax receives your Travel Validation Request less than one week prior to your trip, there will be an additional $50 fee to expedite the processing.
Upon receipt of payment, one of our Alternate Responsible Officers will sign a new Form DS-2019 to authorize reentry to the US, and email this to you. You are required to download and print the Form DS-2019. Please sign the bottom of page 1. The travel validation signature is valid for one year. You do not need to send your DS-2019 to Intrax for subsequent trips if you will return to the US within one year of the Travel Validation signature date.
To re-enter the United States, you will need your passport with a valid visa and your DS-2019. Make sure your visa does not expire before the date you plan to re-enter the US.
Traveling to Canada, Mexico, or an Adjacent Island
You do not need a travel-validation signature for reentry to the United States if you will travel to Canada, Mexico, or a neighboring island (excluding Cuba). Refer to Page 2 of Form DS-2019 for more information.
